Acer V360 smartphone leak shows Jelly Bean and a 4.5-inch display

Some recently leaked details are showing an Acer handset with Jelly Bean. The handset is the Acer V360 and while we have yet to see any official details, we have seen some specs. The handset has been rumored to arrive in the early part of 2013, however we obviously need further confirmation on that. Not to mention, we have yet to see anything in terms of where the V360 will launch.

The details that we have so far are coming by way of the Japanese language Blog of Mobile. It looks like the V360 will arrive running Android 4.1 (as opposed to 4.2). But hey, at least it is Jelly Bean and not Ice Cream Sandwich. Other goodies look to include a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540) touchscreen and a dual-core 1GHz processor.

As you can see, the specs are not going to be over-the-top on this one. The remaining details call for 3G connectivity, a VGA quality-front facing camera, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a weight of 140 grams and measurements of 132.0 x 68.5 x 9.9 mm. Up until this point, the leaks have yet to mention anything in terms of RAM, the amount of internal storage or whether the handset will have a microSD card slot.

The V360 is expected to be available in two colors, black and white. Touching on the pricing rumors, it has been said that the handset will debut somewhere around $300. Of course, that would be a contract-free $300. That said, while not a high-end or super exciting device, we will keep an eye out for more details.
