Android 4.4 KitKat rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S4

Posted In News - By DailyAndroidNews on Friday, January 10th, 2014 With No Comments »

This news caught many by surprise, not because it was expected that the Android 4.4 update for the Samsung Galaxy S4 come so soon (if indeed the rumor that is circulating the Internet is confirmed). And, due to a Twitter message from SamMobile, it is believed that the firmware could begin to unfold today.

The truth is that all indications were that the new version of the operating system for S4 Galaxy begin to arrive in late January or early February … but it seems this could be brought forward and be heading imminently. Also, do not forget that the leaks that had so far are based on data obtained from some U.S. carriers, so it could happen that KitKat came on the dates mentioned above to the U.S., but not in other locations.

Obviously this is all speculation, so it must not be understood as if it were an official news but it is true that in the Twitter message, we capture him at the end of this paragraph, appears the hashtag #nextUpdate , and also mention tomorrow (today). Just do not indicate anything more and refer to this link for XDA Delevopers, so it could also be a development of some members of this forum for the Galaxy S4. Everything can be, really.

Some images confirm the redesigned TouchWiz

It seems that what had been indicating to the layer above using Samsung confirms Android: will redesign and perhaps the arrival of KitKat is the moment chosen by the Korean company for this see the light. At least, it appears to capture the lock screen that could belong to this development (which is accompanied by the results obtained in AnTuTu, where a performance improvement because TouchWiz seems not consume many resources shown system). Yes, we will continue hating and loving this work equally from this manufacturer by users, for sure.

The fact is that today there may be news very interesting regarding the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Android 4.4 will be the epicenter of these, at least that’s what is expected. From AndroidAyuda will keep you informed, if anything “moves” finally.
