Polk announces new UltraFit headphones made for Android

Today the popular speaker and audio company Polk Audio has just announced a slew of headphones for those leading an active lifestyle. Their somewhat new UltraFit 1000, 2000, and 3000 series are meant to handle all the elements, stay tangle free, and sound amazing. The best part about this news is they’re now offering each model specifically for Android soon. Today we learned that three of their newest headphones will all be offered for regular users, then Android specific models will also. 

Motorola DROID RAZR HD and MAXX HD getting 4.1 Jelly Bean today

Just as expected, today Verizon and Motorola have begun pushing out the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean build for the popular DROID RAZR HD and MAXX HD brother. Late last week they started the “soak test” and let users know the update would arrive soon, and now it’s finally here for all those DROID fans to enjoy. More details after the break below. As if three rumored Samsung devices in the same day weren’t enough, we’re now hearing of a fourth device that’s reportedly in the works at Samsung towers. With the Galaxy Note II currently selling like hotcakes, Samsung apparently feels it’s time to introduce the Galaxy Note 7 to the world. Gmail update brings pinch-to-zoom to Android 4.0 and above

We have some good news this afternoon to share with everyone regarding Gmail. Today Google has finally updated their mail application for all Android 4.0 and above devices. This update was much anticipated and brings tons of awesome new features to those not enjoying a Nexus device. Now everyone with an up to date phone can enjoy pinch-to-zoom and more. When Google announced Android 4.2 and the Nexus 4 along with it came a much improved Gmail application. The update today brings the app up to date.

Google has just started informing those Canadian buyers that their extremely popular and hard to buy LG Nexus 4 smartphone is available now. SwiftKey Flow video teases typing without ever lifting a finger

Nexus 7 docking station coming in early December from ASUS

This weekend the official docking station for the Nexus 7 made by ASUS has leaked to the internet. We’ve seen reports and hints at a dock coming soon, but this appears to be rather legit. Official accessories have been pretty rare but thanks to ASUS Japan we now have another look at this upcoming docking station for our favorite Android tablet. The image above was found on the ASUS Japan official website with a release date stated as “early December” but so far we have no other. 

Google employee confirms Android Key Lime Pie to follow Jelly Bean

Sony testing chips by MediaTek for affordable quad-core smartphones in 2013

MediaTek might not be one of the first names you think of when it comes to smartphone chips, but that could change soon. Right now, its chips are generally used in low-cost devices sold mostly in the Chinese markets.
