The long-awaited second part of the extremely popular game Cut the Rope is published on time for Christmas, but only for iOS last week. Disappointed Android fans have to wait until next year. Thus the title joins a nasty tradition of delayed Android releases.

Android games fans are annoyed: While Cut the Rope 2 can be downloaded already for iOS, the Android version has been postponed to 2014, as the developers of Zeptolab announced now. Since there is only a small consolation that the game in Google Play will be obtained for free.

Many popular and awaited games first appear for iOS, while the Android release will repeatedly postponed or delayed. After Plants vs. Zombies 2 and iFruit , the Companion App for Grand Theft Auto 5, Android users will be put off again.

The gameplay of Cut the Rope was expanded in the sequel. In 120 levels, it is important to not only maneuver acrobatic Om Nom with the cutting of cords to the sweets: Five more characters have been added that help him during trampoline jumping, flying, and climbing on glue tabs or stackable friends.

When the game next year is also available for Android, has not yet been announced by the developers of Zeptolab. What do you think: Does it bother you that many titles are released much later for Android Apps?
