CyanogenMod Changes The Way To Use Quick Access Settings

Posted In News, Reviews - By AndroidPress on Wednesday, December 19th, 2012 With No Comments »

CyanogenMod has always been one of the best developer groups in the Android community.  They’ve always found ways to add some very beneficial and sometimes needed additions to already great software.  Plus they keep some of our dated devices a bit more up to date.

With their latest version, CyanogenMod 10.1, the team has made some tweaks to the best Android system to date, Jelly Bean.  The focus today is on the way to access the Quick Access Settings in the drop down menu.  They have split up the pull down so that the left 70% accesses your normal notifications area while the 30% on the right accesses the Quick Access Settings.

The Quick Access Settings can also be customized so that you can add your own custom activators.  So if you happened to have flashed your phone with CyanogenMod you should check out this little gem.
