HomeBase: Customize Android Lock Screen

Posted In HOW TO DO! - By DailyAndroidNews on Sunday, June 16th, 2013 With No Comments »

The Android lock screen is rather bland. Yes, I know that with 4.2.2 widgets have been added to make it more useful, but it sure can do more, such as HTC does with Sense or Facebook with Facebook Home. To this end I HomeBase, a home screen fully configurable intended to give our lock screen just over another.

With HomeBase can customize every detail. For example, we can have different screens with different widgets, with news, over time, with applications to offer … all that we can do on the screen, now in the lock, allowing us to further customize our device.

If this were not enough, HomeBase also has a modified version that emulates the lock screen Facebook Home. And the truth is that is very accomplished, because at first seems the lockscreen Facebook Home a few days ago we presented Mark Zuckerberg . In the same way, other modified versions showing contents as news and others.

The overall interface, but is very customizable, we could describe it as different , as not quite fit with the rest of the system (despite the use of Holo). However, it is quite appealing to the eye, especially if we use some of the modified versions like Facebook Home.
HomeBase you can find it on Google Play for free and without ads, both the standard and the modified version, so do not hesitate to try if you want to give a different touch to your lock screen.
