We’re getting closer and closer to the launch day of the Motorola Moto X, and we should expect to see more and more leaks and talk about the device, if more is even possible. So as the rumour mill doesn’t stop, today we have one more.

Remember the cool camera interface and controls from the Motorola Moto X we talked about last week? Yes that’s right, the cool camera interface with no shutter button and with a twist motion to launch. It is one of the most talked features of the Moto X and is now available as an APK, so theoretically anyone with an Android device can install it.

Since it’s a device specific app, as you’d expect not all features work, and though the essentials work there’s no way of knowing if it’ll act up in your specific case. According to one user, who has loaded the APK into an Android 4.2.2 powered Nexus 4, the regular picture and video mode are working well, but for the rest it’s a bit hit and miss.

As we know from past leaks the Moto X’s camera should open with a simple twist from your wrist and when it’s opened it features a fast shutter, giving you the power to capture every moment even if it’s a restless kid. You can get the APK on the download link below and install it on your phone. Remember this isn’t a fully operational app so if you don’t know what you’re doing proceed with caution. If you do go forward don’t forget to leave your feedback on the comment section below.
